Rossitza Milevska is a singular artist who creates a lively, free and deeply personal jazz. Harpist, singer, pianist and composer, she develops a music rooted in emotion and improvisation, where harp and voice weave a sincere dialogue. Powered by two cultures, trained in both classical and jazz, she affirms a sensitive, expressive and bold musical signature.

Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Rossitza grew up in the heart of a rich and contrasting culture. She was trained at the Sofia National School of Music, where she graduated in piano and harp. She continues her studies at the National Academy of Music « Pancho Vlagigerov », then in France with Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche and Robert Persi. In 2011, she became the first harpist graduated in jazz harp from a French conservatory – a true pioneer.

Rossitza also multiplies collaborations, crossing genres and inspirations:

For over 20 years, she has been passionately communicating. She teaches at the Conservatoire de Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Choir conductor of « Le Choeur Du Sud» Saint-Laurent du Var and Nice Centre, (the largest choir in Europe, founded by Frank Castellano) and animates masterclasses worldwidein Sofia, Amsterdam, Paris, Los Angeles, Singapore, and many other cities.
In 2022, identified by Ibrahim Maalouf, she joined the Free Spirit Together, an orchestra specialized in improvisation.

Rossitza composes music in his image: free, rooted, sincere. On stage and in studio, she explores a singular path where the harp becomes a voice, and the voice becomes a language.

Harpist, pianist, singer and composerRossitza Milevska pushes the boundaries of jazz and classical music by merging virtuosity and creativity. Originally from Bulgaria, she grew up in an environment rich in musical influences that shaped her unique universe.

Discography

Her discography reflects her rich and diverse musical universe, blending jazz, pop and electro-jazz. Her first album As I Am (2011) laid the foundation for her artistic identity, followed by TRI (2014), which marks the rise of the Milevska Trio in the jazz landscape.

With STEPS (2019), she further asserted her musical signature, skillfully merging harp, vocals, and original compositions.
Her next album Jazz Harp Five Alive prolongs this sound and emotional quest.

& Education

With more 20 years of teaching experience, Rossitza shares her passion through international masterclasses (Paris, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, Singapore...). She also teaches harp Conservatoire de Cagnes-sur-Mer and directed several choirs of the Southern Chorus, the largest choir in Europe.

In 2022, Rossitza joined the Free Spirit Together Ibrahim Maalouf, specializing in improvisation. Visionary and passionate, she continues to reinvent the jazz harp language, offering both vibrant, technical and deeply emotional music.
